TRIP DETAILS + INFORMATION

Join Little Wilderness in partnership with the East Central Chapter of Let’s Go Fishing for a special fishing excursion designed to create lasting memories between youth and their veteran heroes. This event will take place on Rush Lake in Central Minnesota. Participants will meet at Flickabirds Resort (50155 Clover Trail, Rush City, MN). From there, you'll board a pontoon and head out to some of the captain’s favorite fishing spots. This is a catch-and-release event. Whether you're there to fish or simply enjoy a peaceful ride on the water, all are welcome. Feel free to visit Flickabirds Restaurant for lunch or drinks following your outing (not included in trip cost). Youth participants must bring their own personal flotation device (PFD), as only adult-sized life jackets will be available on site. Cost: $5 per person. All proceeds will be donated to Let’s Go Fishing.

WHAT TO BRING:

  • Completed boarding pass forms, which will be emailed prior to the event (includes liability waiver, photo release, and a valid MN angling license if required for your age).

  • Personal flotation device (PFD) for youth participants.

WHAT’S PROVIDED:

  • Adult life jackets

  • Bait and tackle

  • Bottled water

  • A trained captain and first mate onboard

Please let us know at the time of registration if anyone in your group requires a power fishing reel or wheelchair-accessible accommodations. In the event of inclement weather, you will be contacted by Little Wilderness within 24 hours of your scheduled time. Please arrive 15 minutes early and be ready to board. Each pontoon will host up to 10 anglers.
