TRIP DETAILS + OVERVIEW
Join Little Wilderness for our Second Annual Family Pheasant Hunt an exciting, hands-on outdoor experience designed to teach and inspire young hunters while celebrating Minnesota’s upland hunting tradition. This event is open to youth ages 12 and up who hold a Firearms Safety Certificate, and parents or guardians are welcome to join in by purchasing a hunter spot. Whether it’s your first hunt or you’re returning for another season, this event is the perfect way to share time in the field and make memories together.
Each group will head out with four hunters, a professional guide, and a trained hunting dog. Don’t worry if you’re not coming with a full group we’ll pair you with other hunters for a great day in the field. Each field will be stocked with five chukars and five pheasants, giving everyone the chance to test their skills and enjoy the thrill of the hunt. After the hunt, we’ll gather back at the clubhouse for lunch, photos, and a bird-cleaning demonstration. All harvested birds may be taken home.

8:45 AM: Safety Talk + Meet Your Guides
9:00 AM: Hunt Begins
12:00 PM: Return to Clubhouse for Lunch + Photos + Bird Cleaning Demo
Equipment & Requirements
Please bring your own firearm, ammunition, one piece of blaze orange (vest or hat), and ear & eye protection. These items are available for rent or purchase at the clubhouse if needed, including gun rentals. Dress appropriately for the weather this is a fully outdoor event. No hunting license is required for this event, as it takes place on a licensed preserve.
